About Your Specialist Tracey

My life passion has always been about animals, especially our canine companions.

Starting as early as possible to get into the world of dogs, I began volunteering at a dog shelter from 2006.

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) in 2008 whilst volunteering at Alma Park Zoo, Brisbane. This gave me the hands on experience of many different species of animals prior to going to work as an Animal Keeper at the Big Pineapple, Nambour, QLD.

Here I was able to extend my knowledge and experience with a wide variety of animals from native and exotic wildlife to domestic pets and in 2011 my skills included working as a Fauna Spotter/Catcher which I did for 3 years.

In 2012, I added house sitting to my available services for friends and clients who wanted to keep their pets at home and to make sure that their house was safe and secure while they were enjoying their holiday. This lead me to look after many different breeds of dogs, as well as other domesticated animals. (Rates are available on application)

I have always had an avid interest in dogs and am widely read to ensure my skills on dog behaviour and grooming are current and effective. My interest led me to completed a 2-day short grooming course at the end of 2014. I followed this by fulfilling one of my dreams and took the opportunity to partake in a 5 day hands-on seminar with The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan, in America in 2015.

Since the commencement of my business I strive to deliver a service that is convenient and cost effective to my clients, and stress free grooming- in a comfortable and loving environment for your furry friends.

A bouncy dog with a waggy tail and lots of licks jumping around me, is my best feedback!
